The legal training services we offer can be divided into two groups:
Enhanced leading edge training products, embracing the latest developments in IT, instructional design and psychology. This includes:
- E-learning: computer and mobile device-based based training courses. Here we can either write the materials from scratch or adapt pre-existing materials on a variety of platforms. These are interactive and highly effective learning tools which can also include tests and certification. Topics can range from substantive law to management skills and induction
- Television quality webinars and virtual classrooms (think webinars with lots of interactivity) – a step up from the ubiquitous talking head and PowerPoint
- Blended learning – a mix of e-learning and classroom learning
- Situational training – training programmes based on the convergence of education and entertainment (so called “edutainment”) comprising specially written scenarios involving both actors and experts
- Virtual reality: incorporating VR into training programmes. Initially in relation to the “law for non-lawyers” market, eg health and safety, food hygiene
“Technology is revolutionizing this market. The research shows an explosive growth in technology tools to train people today. Self-authored video, online communication channels, virtual learning, and MOOCs* are all growing rapidly as training tools. People still need formal classroom education, but this is now less than half the total “hours” people consume in training around the world. And among the highly advanced companies, as much as 18% of all training is now delivered through mobile devices.” FORBES
