David Jacobs is the founder of The Legal Training Consultancy. A barrister and former in-house lawyer, he is also perhaps the most experienced developer of training programmes currently working in the legal industry. His expertise in creating legal training programmes dates back to 1987 when he created, developed and marketed the first in a series of food and nutrition law conferences. Since that time he has produced in excess of 1700 events (attended by over 50,000 people) and training products, including conferences, seminars, webinars and videos, with lawyers from 74 of the top 100 firms of solicitors, 9 out of the top 10 accountancy firms and almost all of the leading sets of chambers. Laura Halfon is the Managing Director of Almond Wills and also develops training programmes with a focus on wills and probate and other private client related matters. She trained as a solicitor with a city firm and developed a specialism in private client work. She started working on training programmes for lawyers 6 years ago and has worked on all aspects of programme development.

Nick Jerome is a highly experienced facilitator, trainer and coach who has worked with a wide range of organisations across many sectors. Sample recent clients include: Unicredit, Société Générale, NHS, University of London, Edhec Business School, Cisco, Leicestershire Police, Wilmington plc. He specialises in leadership and management development, coaching, presentation skills training, soft skills. He works with everyone from trainees to staff groups and leadership teams. He has an MBA and is an accredited coach. He also speaks fluent French. As a coach, he specialises in Leadership, Communications, Careers and Relationships at work.

Rob Hoblin MBA MA FCMI. Rob has maintained a strong training background throughout his career of over 30 years and has delivered and facilitated training at a national level throughout the UK and internationally over many years. This included the introduction of an objectively structured performance related national exam where he designed both the written and the live performance aspects for a public sector agency, which are now integral to a national framework of assessment. He is an ORCE qualified assessor, TAP certified training deliverer as well as an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor in Leadership.

Between 2006 and 2011, Rob was the Head of Business Development for a large Government Agency where he was also the Agency Board’s key advisor on all aspects of customer service relations including performance measurement, customer engagement and providing reports for Ministerial submissions on the Agency’s annual performance.

Over the last three years he has taken up a wide range of training and presentation related engagements. He has travelled to the Middle East and Africa where he has delivered a wide range of soft skills leadership and management training modules. More recently he has delivered a crisis management course to senior cross government departments from Saudi Arabia which culminated in a presentation of the end of course certificates in the House of Lords, hosted by Lord Ahmed.

Mark Burgess is a trainer and assessor with over twenty years’ experience of the management, development, design and delivery of a wide range of training programmes, from performance management to team working and the development of new managers. He enjoys creating new content and promoting new learning environments. Experience has taught him how to build strong working relationships with trainers, employers, managers and a wide range of official bodies. He has had responsibility for all CPD activities and the evaluation of all training materials and assessment activities as well as ensuring the embedding of up-to-date standardisation procedures arising from these activities.He has extensive expertise in local authority training  particularly in relation to planning and management of training programmes and staff development, including the implementation of council-wide talent strategy programmes, work-based coaching and the development of new managers and team leaders.

Jude Allen is a highly experienced and award winning videographer with a background in Film and TV Documentary, conferences, corporate videos and on- demand video content for education training, networks and events.
